About the workshop

textural works of decor, lighting, and sculpture, crafted to create balance, warmth, and order within chaos designer and builder aaron harel creates deeply textured works from upcycled drum shells and reclaimed wood for elevated residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. each design manifests with the intention of generating calmness and order in complex environments. balanced patterns, warm earth tones, and clean, modern organic forms drive each unique piece. every piece is made using salvaged pre-consumer material generated during the drum-building process, while supporting forest regeneration by planting two trees for every square foot of work. his signature "contour panel" design has sold over 300 one-of-a-kind pieces and can be seen in spaces around the country from public theaters to private studios of grammy nominated musicians, and hundreds of residential homes.
