About the workshop

My name is Justin Comins. I’m a husband, a father, and an artist who’s always felt most grounded working with my hands. I also live with ADHD, which has shaped the way I think, create, and stay curious. Before Wylie's, I spent over twenty years as a television executive developing series for Netflix, HBO, National Geographic, and Discovery. Storytelling was at the center of that work, but over time, I felt a pull toward something more tangible. That shift began with restoring a 1970 Honda motorcycle from the ground up, which led me to woodworking and leathercraft, and a deep study of traditional joinery, hand-tooling, and time-honored techniques. Today, I design and build custom furniture and handcrafted leather goods for clients across the U.S. Every piece is made with intention, built to be lived with, and meant to last.
